In light of recent tragedies such as the Pulse nightclub shooting in Orlando, where 49 lives were lost and every second counted, Health First and the Brevard County Sheriff’s Office (BCSO) are working together to teach life-saving techniques to members of our community at no cost. “Stop the Bleed” is a nationwide campaign to empower individuals to act quickly and save lives by using life-saving interventions such as pressure and tourniquet application.
