This Week’s Melbourne Regional Chamber & Spotlight Magazine Business is : The Viera Woman’s Club

spotlight horizontal3This week’s Spotlight Business of the Week is the Viera Woman’s Club! Currently led by Judith Gendron and founded in 2004, VWC focuses on several community service projects in areas such as the arts, conservation, education, international outreach, public issues, and “homelife”, a program designed to inform members of issues that affect community well-being. Unlike other community service organizations, VWC is unique because the club serves in many areas instead of focusing on one issue. Since 2004, VWC has contributed a whopping 138,609 community service hours and over $385,000 to our community. With opportunities for women of all ages beginning in the Juniorettes group for middle school girls and into the Woman’s group when older, the VWC offers a rewarding experience, long-lasting friendships, and leadership opportunities. Viera Woman’s Club hopes to continue growing membership, enhance volunteer opportunities, expand Juniorettes membership, and hopefully begin a Junior Club.
