Melbourne Regional Chamber & Spotlight Magazine Business of the Month is : Viera Woman’s Club

The GFWC Viera Woman’s Club, a community service club with approximatley 100 members,  was formed in 2004.   The clubwomen are true volunteers in action!  In  April 2014, the club celebrated its tenth anniversary and received a proclamation from the Brevard County Board of County Commissioners for having volunteered 131,316 hours and donated $351,198 in goods and monetary donations to local, national and international charitable organizations in the ten years of existence. This week’s Spotlight Business of the Week is the Viera Woman’s Club! Currently led by Judith Gendron and founded in 2004, VWC focuses on several community service projects in areas such as the arts, conservation, education, international outreach, public issues, and “homelife”, a program designed to inform members of issues that affect community well-being.
