The GFWC Viera Woman’s Club, a community service club with approximatley 100 members, was formed in 2004. The clubwomen are true volunteers in action! In April 2014, the club celebrated its tenth anniversary and received a proclamation from the Brevard County Board of County Commissioners for having volunteered 131,316 hours and donated $351,198 in goods and monetary donations to local, national and international charitable organizations in the ten years of existence.
Pictured below are Eloise Lynagh and Judy DeAngelis, co-chairs of this year’s Pre-tournament Swing Around Par-Tee on Friday, October 23, and Swing for Charity Golf Tournament on Saturday, October 24. Participation may be in one or both events, and proceeds will be donated to the Children’s Hunger Project, Hacienda Girls Ranch, and Canine Companions for Independence/Wounded Veterans’ Initiative.
