The Salvation Army of Melbourne is hosting its 6th Annual Giving Hope Gala “An Evening to Make Dreams Come True”. This gala benefits the Sue M. Pridmore Center for Women and Children. The Sue M. Pridmore Center for Homeless Women and Children is the only transitional center in Brevard County of its kind. The Center provides shelter, food, spiritual comfort and emotional support to women with or without children. To help those seeking to break free from chronic homelessness and unemployment the Center offers a wide range of life-skills training to help its residents successfully transition into the local community and become productive self-sufficient individuals.
The Giving Hope Gala will be hosted at the Melbourne Hilton Rialto Place on August 25, 2018 from 6-10pm. There will be Dinner, Entertainment, Live and Silent Auctions.
The Keynote Speaker will be Col. Danny McKnight (Ret) “Black Hawk Down”
The Guest Speaker will be Melbourne Mayor Kathy Meehan
The Emcee will be Greg Pallone Spectrum News 13.
