Celebrate the arrival of fall at one of Brevard County’s treasured historic landmarks as Green Gables at Historic Riverview Village hosts its Harvest Festival on Saturday, September 26, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at 1501 S. Harbor City Blvd. in Melbourne. Admission to the festival is free.

With the theme “Unwrap Autumn’s Delight!”, the Harvest Festival promises a fun-filled day for the entire family. Guests can enjoy arts and crafts, local vendors, live music, food trucks, and children’s activities, all set against the beautiful backdrop of historic Green Gables.

Visitors will also have the opportunity to step back in time and learn more about this important piece of Melbourne’s history. Tours of Green Gables will be available for $10 per person, offering guests a closer look inside the historic home and the story behind its preservation.

Another special attraction will be the Gemstone Dig, sponsored by Sullivan’s Jewelers, adding even more family-friendly fun to the day.

Green Gables has become a familiar symbol of local history and community preservation along the Indian River Lagoon. Events such as the Harvest Festival give residents and visitors an opportunity to enjoy the property while supporting continued efforts to preserve this historic landmark for future generations.
