Located in Merritt Island, In Bloom Academy is a micro-school and homeschool support community dedicated to nurturing the whole child. We serve students who benefit from a more individualized approach, including many neurodivergent learners who thrive when education is built around relationships, flexibility, creativity, and emotional safety.
At In Bloom, we believe that education is about more than academics. While reading, writing, math, and science are important, so are confidence, curiosity, self-awareness, communication, and life skills. We recognize that children are not standardized, and neither should their learning be.
What makes In Bloom special is the environment we have created. Our students learn through hands-on experiences, project-based activities, outdoor exploration, cooking, art, movement, social-emotional learning, and meaningful conversations. We encourage students to ask questions, follow their interests, and develop a lifelong love of learning.
For many families, In Bloom is more than a school, it is a place where they finally feel understood. Parents often tell us that their children have rediscovered joy, built confidence, and begun to see themselves as capable learners again. Those moments are what inspire us every day.
