MELBOURNE ATHLETIC CLUB DELIVERS SUPPLIES TO AID IN PUERTO RICO HURRICANE RELIEF EFFORT

MELBOURNE, FL (October 3, 2017) – Melbourne Athletic Club (MAC) today announced the delivery of nearly two tons of food, water, and batteries to Puerto Rico to assist in the Hurricane Maria relief efforts in coordination with Capital Funding Group, headquartered in Baltimore, MD. Nancy Dwyer, owner of Melbourne Athletic Club, and Jack Dwyer, CEO and Chairman of the Board of CFG, issued the following statement:

“When we heard the plight of the people in Puerto Rico, we were compelled to respond. We coordinated with relief efforts already on the ground to find out exactly what they needed most, and we will continue to find ways to support the people with food, supplies, and additional needs as they work to rebuild in the wake of this horrible storm.”
